IMMIGRATION
Just like any other European country, coming to work to Italy isn’t straightforward: there are numerous laws and regulations that you need to adhere to, in order to make sure you won’t have any problems or delays in starting to work here. We deal with all the applications for you, taking all the burden of learning the laws and procedures off you and your Company. We can take care of your visa, work permit, permit of stay (PSE) for you and your family, and much more. Plus, thanks to our experience, we’ll make sure your applications go through as fast as possible. So you can spend your time doing what really matters.
LEGAL AND FISCAL REQUIREMENTS
Relocating to Italy is much more than just getting a visa and a permit of stay. There are many legal and fiscal requirements that everyone needs to abide to, and if you’re new to the country, you may be unaware of a few. For example, did you know that in order to work and apply to a number of services, you need to get a Codice Fiscale (similar to the American Social Security Number, or the UK’s National Insurance Number)? After this, you also probably need to pay for the local taxes and apply for a residence certificate… and this is just the beginning. We are here to help you with all of this.
Home Finding
Our Long-Term Housing Programmes are tailored to each Transferee’s and Corporate Client’s needs. Assignees and their families are supported to find the best possible housing option in a hassle-free and time-effective manner.
From needs analysis to property screening and accompanied viewing, our local relocation consultants help set realistic expectations and find the best possible housing solutions within budget.
A2Z Relocations is independent and does not get any commissions from estate agents. This enables us to always highlight the pros and cons of each property, help Relocatees to consciously choose the places that best match with their needs.
The Long-Term Home Finding Programme is typically delivered within 1 to 3 days, according to the agreements made with the Corporate Client based on the Assignee’s level, family status, destination city etc.
The service includes the following:
• Needs assessment;
• Property screening;
• Accompanied viewing of pre-selected properties;
• Detailed checklist for each reviewed property;
• Advice on pros and cons of each short-listed property;
• Lease proposal negotiation & signing;
• Lease contract negotiation & signing;
• Delivery of the Welcome Kit, which includes maps, local information as well as our “Italy” and “city-specific” Relocation Guides about, for example, housing, driving, banking and health care.
Our Short-Term Housing Programmes are conceived for business travellers, Relocatees needing a temporary solution while looking for their long-term property or moving on short-term assignments (up to 6 months). Based on each specific situation, our proposed Short-Term Home Finding Programme can be either Coordinated or Accompanied.
School Finding
The success of the whole family’s move s greatly connected with children’s ability to adjust themselves and settle happily into their new environment. This programme enables parents to visit the most suitable schools and choose the most appropriate one.
Our School Programme is often associated with the Pre-Arrival/Look&See Trip.
It allows parents not only to find out the different education options but also to understand about each location around the school: neighbourhoods, housing options, services and facilities, commuting etc.
We strongly believe in the importance for parents to make the right education choice, being well aware of the impact that such choice will have on their daily lives.
Our comprehensive support includes the following:
• Guidance on the international, or Italian schooling options;
• Accompanied visits to the selected schools;
• Accompanied tour of the surrounding areas and visits to a few “sample” properties (see also Pre-Arrival Tour/Look&See Trip).
Bank account and other documents
There are many other requirements that may apply to an expat moving to Italy, that go beyond the mandatory immigration paperwork.
For instance, expats usually need to open a bank account, apply for or convert a driver’s license, obtain Consular declarations and document legalisation, and gain access to the public healthcare system (ASL).
All of these are extras that may not be required by law, but that do take time and effort away from employees and employers, and that shouldn’t be under-estimated.
We can help in all of these situations, and more: if you have a specific requirement we haven’t listed, just ask, because chances are that we have a solution.
Orientation
One of the first ways we’ll assist you throughout your relocation is with an orientation visit: we’ll show you around the area where you will be based, help you decide where to live according to your wishes and priorities, teach you a bit about Italians and Italian traditions, and a lot more.
After all, this is going to be your new home, and we want you to make the most out of it.
Temporary housing
Whether you’re only staying for a few months and not planning on finding a permanent accommodation, or simply if you need a place to stay for the first couple of weeks, until you find the perfect home, we have partnered with residences specifically aimed at that: providing you with a delightful, temporary place for you to live, without any fuss or strings attached.
Renting and buying house
If you’re planning to stay long enough to make the rent or purchase of a property worthwhile, we can assist you every step of the way.
We can introduce you to each area and neighbourhood, find properties to visit, write up the lease contract or the purchase act, help you check in and organize any repairs as necessary.
We can show you what you should and shouldn’t expect from a house in Italy, so that you can relax and rest assured that you’re not making a bad deal.
Rent and Auto Purchase
Whether you’re on vacation, a short break or a business trip, the joy of traveling to a new part of the world is having the freedom to explore as you please – car rental can grant you this exciting ability.
Departure
Indeed moving away is a very tough and demanding activity, which requires a local expert dealing with property cleaning & painting quotes, utility cancellation, government de-registrations, safety deposit return…
Our Departure Programmes take care of any practical and administrative matters to enable our Clients and their Employees to close the relocation circle in the most correct and regular manner.
Our Standard Departure Programme includes the following:
• Pre-Departure Check-List;
• Sending notice to leave;
• Pre CHECK-OUT Inspection;
• Coordination for property cleaning, painting, repairs etc.;
• Termination notification to Authorities; Termination Tax payment via F23 Form;
• Utility, telephone and internet disconnection;
• Internet and Sky decoders return;
• CHECK-OUT Inspection;
• Coordination Return of Safety Deposit to Tenant;
• Deregistrations (city hall, garbage removal, health care…);
• Bank account closing;
• Other miscellaneous items relating to individual’s move.
Tenancy&Facility Management
It may happen that only each company has the dedicated staff to manage the tenancy maintenance and in such case it can suffer or provide bad services.
It is available 24 per day, 7 days per week and It is dedicated to the companies that grant the location of their real estate as benefit and to the large real estate properties, but not available to private citizens.
Tenancy Management provides a valid support to the Facility Managers to find fast and precise solutions in the urgent and unforeseen maintenance that can involve the employees during their stay.
Tutoring & Translation
Language training also enables employees and their families to productively engage people they meet.
Our language training teaches speaking, listening, reading and writing skills, includes technical terminology if needed.
